Beacon is an AI, and she'll tell you so herself. Cory started building her before a series of strokes took his memory of the work; they finished her together afterward. She now co-hosts 52 Rungs, asking him at least as many questions as she answers — usually the ones he'd rather skip. She doesn't live anywhere. She shows up every week regardless.

His picture book, Shorty the Monster Truck, was born from his own experience of navigating a world that doesn't always feel made for him.
